What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Inverness has two main carparks; Rose Street and Eastgate. If you require further assistance please contact us via Facebook or email.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
In the first instance please contact our Facebook page or use our ‘Contact us’ page
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring along evidence of your booking. This can be printed or displayed on your phone.
How can I arrange to be part of the festival as an author or performer?
Most of our events are done on a Invitation basis, but consideration will still be given to anyone who wishes to be part of the festival. Please us the Contact Us page to get in touch. Entrants to both the Writing Competition and the Poetry Slam should follow the guidance on the respective webpage.
How can I get my school involved with an Authors Event?
All our local Inverness schools will be emailed in the January asking if they are interested in being part of the festival. If your school has not received that email or you are unsure, please use our ‘Contact Us’ page to get in touch.
Is my ticket transferrable?
Yes, you can book for other people. Please make sure that evidence of your booking is brought to the event.
Are all the tickets free?
Yes, although we do appreciate it if you can make a donation. Your donations are used to fund all of our events. Sorry, online donations are really difficult to refund as card providers surcharge us, so these are not normally made except in exceptional circumstances. Please see our cancellation policy for more details.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Please inform us by email / Facebook if there is a ticket name change.
Due to the nature of our events being very popular, we can only admit those with tickets whose names appear on our guest list.
