SUPPORT NESSBOOK FEST

NessBookFest is a Community Effort to bring a #NoBarriers book festival to Inverness and the Highlands. COVID-19 put the festival on hold in 2020, but we will be back in 2021 with new events, be they online or otherwise. All of our events are completely free, and this is made possible by all our wonderful sponsors and volunteers. With a regular expansive festival programme of ~40 events taking place throughout Inverness, there’s something for everyone; from crime & thriller to science fiction, academic and creative, workshops, readings & panels, illustrators and a full children’s programme brought to local schools. Were keen to support and promote local creators. The festival is once a year for a few magical days in October but keep an eye out for our year round events and workshops!

WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

There’s so much you can do to help the NessBookFest team if you want to get on board. Our committee is always open to new member applications and we’re always on the look out for keen helpers for the festival itself.

• Apply for a committee position
• Apply to volunteer for the festival itself
• Donate prizes, author gifts, books etc.
• Donate money!
• Pitch for an event
